You plan to bring with you a laptop to the workshop:

Network access sockets (Portable outlets- RJ45) are available in most offices, conference rooms, and the user area in building 513. They support the DHCP protocol.

Wireless access (IEEE-802.11b) is available in most conference rooms. The frequency bands 1, 6, and 11 are used. Set the network name (SSID) to "CERN".

To connect your laptop to the CERN campus network you'll need to follow the instructions mentioned here. When filling your web registration form, you can mention Maria Elena Angoletta ( Maria.Elena.Angoletta@cern.ch) or Flemming Pedersen (Flemming.Pedersen@cern.ch) as your CERN contact person.

SHOULD YOU REQUIRE THIS SERVICE, PLEASE FILL THE WEB REGISTRATION FORM AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR THE WORKSHOP!

You don't plan to bring with you a laptop to the workshop:

A limited access to the web will be available through PCs and workstations in the main building. More details will be given at the moment of the conference registration.
